Geisha, synonymous with Japanese culture, are highly skilled entertainers trained in the art of playing the shamisen, singing, and engaging with guests. Spending time with them is a highly sought-after experience. This Tokyo experience combines tea and wagashi with a geisha performance and traditional games.
Upon arrival, a brief explanation of the experience will be provided in English. You'll then be served a cup of freshly brewed Japanese tea alongside wagashi. Enjoy a short geisha dance performance before participating in classic games. In this relaxed setting, interacting with the geisha allows you to gain a deeper appreciation for their culture and way of life.
Conclude the experience with a memorable photo session with the geisha. Geisha will help guests put on an easy-to-wear kimono for them to use during the photo session, and guests will return kimono afterwards (both male and female kimono are available). This limited-availability experience is only held a few times per month, so book early to secure your spot.

Good To Know
- Please do not touch the geisha without permission.
- This experience takes place on the 3rd floor of a building in the grounds of a Shinto shrine. Guests with strollers can leave them on the 1st floor.
- Guests will be sitting on Japanese flooring (tatami) on cushions. However, chairs can be prepared if necessary. Please let the host know at the time of booking!
Meeting Point and Meeting Time
Head directly to Omori Otori Shrine, about a 5-minute walk from Omori Station. Please note that there are shrines with similar names, so please be careful when looking for the place. A Google Maps link will be provided upon booking.
