We had the BEST time at Akito’s tea tour. Whether or not you enjoy drinking tea you will enjoy this tour!! The tea fields are so beautiful and picturesque, we got to pick tea leaves, tried many delicious teas, and Akito was so lovely and knowledgeable. He knew the answer to every question, and we asked a LOT of questions! Not only did we have so much fun but we learnt a lot. :) Highly recommend!

We had the most wonderful time with Aki in her home cooking several Japanese dishes and also learned the art of cooking miso soup from scratch.
We were involved in the preparation and cooking of each of the four dishes which were all delicious.
Authentic Japanese cooking experience great value, Aki is a wonderful host and highly recommend this experience in her home and easy to get to on public transport from centre of Kyoto.

This was a superb food tour. We joined this on our first night in Japan and it was a great introduction for how to enjoy izakaya, how to navigate the local area, and some handy phrases & etiquette. Yoshi was great energy! He also took special care to accommodate my vegetarian diet as well as another attendee's dietary request too. Plus the food & stops we went to were all excellent! I would highly recommend this tour.

We had the Hanazono course which was inclusive of 25 variety of nigiri and small dishes.
Every single item was fresh and well executed with explanation of the type of fish. The seafood were amongst the freshest we have ever had.
Service was impeccable. The price is considered value for money in terms of omakase in Japan.
We fully enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend anyone considering it.
